The Morgan State Bears lost their fourth straight game to the Yale Bulldogs 45-3.

Although the score turned out to be a blowout the Bears kept it close through the first half with it being 17-3 through two quarters. It was a 28-point outburst in the third that put the Bulldogs up big.

Last year’s Ivy League player of the year quarterback Nolan Groom took this game over going 29 of 38 passing for 363 yards and four touchdowns and rushing for 87 yards on nine attempts.

Grooms’ favorite target of the day was Mason Tipton who caught nine balls for 136 yards and two touchdowns. The Bulldogs had two more receivers go former yards than anybody on Morgan with Ryan Lindley having 77 yards and a touchdown, while Joey Felton had 66 yards and a touchdown swell.

The Morgan offense had another tough game, rushing for 86 yards and 2.4 yards per carry. Multiple quarterbacks played for the Bears again as Dominique Anthony and That Smith both played. The two would combine to go 15 of 30, 188 yards, and two interceptions.

The Bears were outgunned in every way as the Bears had 204 total yards and the Bulldogs had 521 yards.

This Saturday, October 7th, the Bears come back home to host Stony Brook for their homecoming game in hopes of keeping their losing streak at four games.
