The McDaniel College women’s volleyball team defeated Goucher, 3-1, on Sept. 12, 2026, at the Gill Center in Westminster, Maryland. Kaylee Comstock reached 1,000 career assists during the match. McDaniel won the final three sets, 25-12, 25-17 and 25-14, after Goucher took the opening set, 25-18.
The victory extended McDaniel’s winning streak to five matches and improved the team’s record to 5-1. McDaniel later fell to Mount Aloysius in four sets, 25-23, 13-25, 25-20 and 25-21, in the final match of the tri-match.
Kaylee Comstock Reaches Career Milestone
Comstock became the 12th player in McDaniel College volleyball program history to reach 1,000 career assists. She is the first McDaniel player to reach the milestone since Gayle Edelstein in 2019.
Comstock finished the win over Goucher with 24 assists, five kills and six digs. She now has 1,039 assists in 53 career matches.

Goucher capitalized on 12 McDaniel attack errors to win the first set, but McDaniel responded with a 5-0 start in the second set. The Green Terror led from start to finish in the set and took control of the match.

Mount Aloysius defeated McDaniel in four sets in the final match of the tri-match. The match featured 17 ties and 10 lead changes, including 11 ties and seven lead changes across the final two sets.
Bowley and Christiana Alapa each recorded 10 kills for McDaniel and combined for five blocks. Arrian Spratt added a career-high 12 digs, while Comstock totaled 19 assists, four service aces and seven digs.
McDaniel is scheduled to travel to Wilson on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Phoenix.
