Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association Explains How to Find Fall Schedules, Results and Standings

The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) oversees athletics for public secondary schools in Maryland. The MPSSAA is directing users to its website and sport-specific homepages for fall-season schedules, results and standings. The association also provided search and filtering instructions for locating information by school, classification, region, city; county or conference.

MPSSAA noted that the accuracy and timeliness of the information depend on submissions from member schools. Users with concerns or discrepancies are directed to contact their school’s athletic director.

How to Find MPSSAA Schedules and Results

Users can access schedules and results through the appropriately labeled links on the MPSSAA homepage or through the homepage for a specific sport. After selecting a sport, users can use the search bar and filters to find a school, classification, region, city; county or conference.

Users who want to view an entire schedule can select “All Games” in the filter menu. The MPSSAA information also includes live results through the website and sport-specific homepages.

MPSSAA Standings and Football Points

MPSSAA said standings are sorted weekly during the fall season to reflect the schools with the highest winning percentages in their regions. After selecting a sport, users can filter standings by classification and region.

The association said it was working to display Football Points Standings on its new website. MPSSAA planned to post those standings to the football homepage that week.

MSB Analysis

The MPSSAA guidance gives users a central way to locate schedules, live results and standings while making clear that member-school submissions determine how accurate and current the information is. Athletic directors remain the designated contacts for concerns or discrepancies.
