The Keys to Victory!
Rutgers is in a transition period
Future Hall of Famer arguably one of the best women’s basketball head coaches, C. Vivian Stringer announced her retirement in April 2022. Now former Penn State Nittany Lion head coach Coquese Washington she changed the culture, and built great success at Penn State she will do the same for Rutgers. This is a team that plays with great energy and will make any team work for 40 minutes a night.
Maryland looks to build success off 2022
Maryland is facing a Rutgers team that is off to a slow start but is 0-3 in big ten matchups. Rutgers has only two players in double figures, and they are last in points per game which should play in Maryland’s hands defensively. A five-game win streak gives this team a lot of confidence especially playing on the road.
How will the #LegUSY look in 2023?
Nine new faces are Maryland Terrapins, and everyone has questioned: How will this team look on the court chemistry-wise? There are a lot of great things to be proud of if you are a Maryland fan, however, there are some small cleanups that should be taken into consideration, as the Terps are facing big 10 opponents they are facing some tough post players, and it is going to be interesting to see how Coach Frese will utilize key players in certain situations such as Maryland is still finding it’s true identity.
