La Salle Gets Best of Tigers

The Explorers of La Salle University beat Towson in the Battle of the Boardwalk tonight 57-51, a night after the Tigers beat the Tulane Green Wave 73-55.

For the Tigers, guard Jakigh Dotton led the team in points with 12 points and in assists with 2. Forward Dennis Tunstall led the team in rebounds with 14.

For La Salle, guard Pookie Powell led the team in points with 18, guard Jack Clark led the team in rebounds with 6, and guard Saul Phiri led the team in assists with 3.
