Josh Norman Ruled Out for Monday Night Versus Eagles

Star cornerback Josh Norman was previously listed as questionable for the Redskins’ Monday night game versus the Eagles, but it was announced today that Norman will not play. Even with Norman, the Redskins’ secondary is plagued with injury (safeties Stefan Mcclure and Deshazor Everett and fellow cornerback Rashaud Breeland are all still listed as questionable), and losing Norman for this week only hurts more against a red hot Carson Wentz and Eagles’ offense.

While Norman will sit out this week, the fact that he was considered questionable earlier this week is positive, since his original injury report had him out for longer. He will likely return to play next week against the Cowboys.
