Johns Hopkins University Athletics Announces 2027 Johns Hopkins Men’s Lacrosse Schedule With Five Big Ten Games to Close Regular Season

Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse coach Peter Milliman announced the 2027 schedule on Sept. 15, 2026. The 13-game regular-season slate includes six home games, six away games, and one neutral-site game before Johns Hopkins closes the regular season with five consecutive Big Ten contests.

The Blue Jays will begin spring competition with a scrimmage against Saint Joseph’s at Homewood Field on Jan. 30, 2027. They will open the regular season at home against Drexel on Feb. 6.

Johns Hopkins Men’s Lacrosse Opens Against Drexel

The Drexel game will be the second meeting between the teams and their first since 1947. Johns Hopkins will play five games in February, including home games against Drexel, Georgetown, and North Carolina, as well as away games at Towson and Loyola.

Johns Hopkins will host North Carolina on Feb. 27 to begin a four-game run against ACC opponents. The Blue Jays will then play Duke in Charlotte, North Carolina, on March 6 before hosting Virginia at Homewood Field on March 13 in the annual game for the Doyle Smith Cup.

The Blue Jays will close their eight-game nonconference schedule at Syracuse on March 20. Final game times and television schedules have not been announced.

Big Ten Schedule Closes Regular Season

Johns Hopkins will begin its five-game Big Ten stretch at Michigan during the last weekend of March. The Blue Jays will then host Rutgers on April 3, visit Penn State during the weekend of April 10, and host Ohio State on April 17 during Johns Hopkins Homecoming Weekend.

The regular-season finale at Maryland will mark the 130th meeting between the Blue Jays and Terrapins. Rutgers and Ohio State will be the two home games in Johns Hopkins’ five-game Big Ten run.

All six Big Ten teams will qualify for the 2027 Big Ten Tournament. The quarterfinals are scheduled for May 1 at the sites of the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, while Penn State will host the semifinals on May 6 and the championship game on May 8.
