Jackson Holliday promoted to AAA Norfolk Tides

MLB’s and the Baltimore Orioles’ number one overall prospect Jackson Holliday is being promoted to AAA. Jackson Holliday will have his AAA debut with the Norfolk Tides later this week. Holliday started the 2023 season in Low-A with the Delmarva Shorebirds. In 14 games in Low-A he batted .396 and had an OPS of 1.183. He would later be promoted to High-A which is where he played most of this season. In 57 games with the Aberdeen Ironbirds he batted .314 and had an OPS of .940. He also had 5 homeruns and 35 RBIs.

Jackson Holliday was promoted to AA in July. In his 35 games in AA with the Bowie Baysox he batted .326 and had an OPS of .913. In all three levels this season he has played 106 games. His batting average throughout all three levels is .329 with an OPS of .964. Holliday also has 10 HRs and 66 RBIs throughout the three levels. Along with Holliday hitting for average he is also an amazing fielder on defense. He has made some amazing diving plays showing off his range along with making some very strong accurate throws showing off his arm strength.

Jackson Holliday has proven that he is ready for AAA by dominating on both sides of the ball throughout the other three levels. He is putting up these numbers as a 19 year old in his first season in the minors after being drafted first overall last year. There is a very good chance that he will be with the Baltimore Orioles to start the MLB season next year.
