Howard Community College women’s volleyball is scheduled to open the 2026-27 athletics season with a preseason tournament Saturday, Aug. 15, at Hagerstown Community College. The event will feature Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Anne Arundel Community College and Hagerstown Community College in a Region 20 matchup involving four teams.
Fall and winter practices at Howard Community College begin the week of Aug. 10-16, leading up to the first preseason contests of the 2026-27 season.
Howard Community College Women’s Volleyball Tournament Details
The preseason tournament will serve as preparation for the regular season starting in September. Howard Community College women’s volleyball is scheduled to face Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Anne Arundel Community College and Hagerstown Community College at the Hagerstown event.
The tournament is part of the Play4Kay initiative, with proceeds benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. A skills clinic will be held alongside the tournament.
Howard Community College Men’s Soccer Schedule Follows
Howard Community College men’s soccer will begin its season the following week with the annual Burgundy & Gold Intersquad Scrimmage. The team then travels to Indianapolis for the Midwest JUCO Showcase.
At the showcase, Howard will face nationally ranked opponents Schoolcraft College and Northeast Community College, according to Howard Community College.
