Howard Community College women’s volleyball is scheduled to open the 2026-27 athletics season with a preseason tournament Saturday, Aug. 15, at Hagerstown Community College. The event will feature Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Anne Arundel Community College and Hagerstown Community College in a Region 20 matchup involving four teams.
The Howard Community College athletics schedule for Aug. 10-16 marks the beginning of fall and winter practices following the summer break. The first preseason contests of the 2026-27 season are scheduled for that week.
Howard Community College Women’s Volleyball Tournament Details
The preseason tournament is scheduled to serve as preparation for the start of the regular season in September. Howard Community College women’s volleyball is scheduled to face Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Anne Arundel Community College and Hagerstown Community College at the Hagerstown event.
The tournament will be part of the Play4Kay initiative, with proceeds going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. A skills clinic also is scheduled to be held alongside the tournament.
Howard Community College Men’s Soccer Schedule Follows
Howard Community College men’s soccer is scheduled to begin its season the following week with the annual Burgundy & Gold Intersquad Scrimmage. The team then is scheduled to travel to Indianapolis for the Midwest JUCO Showcase.
At the showcase, Howard Community College men’s soccer is scheduled to face Schoolcraft College and Northeast Community College. Howard Community College identified both opponents as nationally ranked.
