Hood College women’s soccer defeated Bryn Mawr College 1-0 at home Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, thanks to Elizabeth Poulson’s goal in the fifth minute. The victory improved Hood College’s record to 1-1-0, while Bryn Mawr College dropped to 0-2-0.
After Bryn Mawr College’s Lillie Schmelz was called for a foul in the fifth minute, Ryley Backer delivered a free kick to Poulson, who scored her first goal of the 2026 season, giving Hood College the only goal it would need.
