Hall of famer and father of current Hershey Bear Ray Bourque to play at the alumni game

Hall of fame defenseman Ray Bouruqe has agreed to play for the Hershey Bears alumni team at the outdoor classic. The Friday portion of the weekend will consist of alumni for the Philadelphia Flyers including the legion of doom, and the alumni from the Hershey Bears!

Ray Bourque currently holds records for most career goals, assists, and points by a defenseman in the NHL. Ray Bourque was also a four time Olympian for team Canada. In 2001 Ray Bourque, playing for the Colorado avalanche was the Stanley Cup. In 2004 Ray added more accolades to his resume when he was voted into the NHL hall of fame.

Ray is the father of current Hershey Bears forward Chris Bourque. Chris currently leads the AHL in scoring. Ray is also the father of former Hershey Bears, and current Bridgeport Soundtiger forward Ryan Bourque.

The outdoor classic alumni game is Friday January 19th in Hershey at the Hershey Park Stadium.
