The Goucher College women’s soccer team lost 4-0 to Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Baltimore, Maryland. Nia George played 90 minutes in goal and recorded nine saves for Goucher College, which had a 1-5-0 record.
Lancaster Bible College Takes Early Lead
Lancaster Bible College scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. Isabella Eufemia opened the scoring at 3:28, and Rayanna Wagaman added a goal at 11:00.
Goucher College generated several opportunities late in the half. Alison Licona Pacheco and Ashley Schwartz each had an attempt that forced a save, while Abby Lee followed with two shots before halftime.
Chargers Add Two Second-Half Goals
Lee put another shot on target shortly after halftime, but Lancaster Bible College extended its advantage at 53:39 when Madison Duggan scored. Emily Murawski added the final goal at 89:21.
Lancaster Bible College outshot Goucher College 24-7, including a 13-5 advantage in shots on goal. Lancaster Bible College earned four corner kicks, while Goucher College earned none. Goucher College’s defense also blocked two shots.
Lee led Goucher College with three shots on goal. The Goucher College back line included Michelle Ruano-Campos, Madison Ybarra, Taylor Acres and Schwartz.

Goucher College was scheduled to host Drew University in its Landmark Conference opener Saturday, Sept. 26, at 4 p.m. Lancaster Bible College’s listed record was 2-4-0, while Goucher College’s listed record was 1-5-0.
