The last time these two teams met, the Washington Capitals got a late goal by the tiger Lars Eller to help seal the deal for the Stanley Cup. Not much has changed for the Washington Capitals lineup wise, so we should expect a lot of the same for the Caps against the Knights tonight in DC.
Capitals notes: Expect that both Jaskin and and defenseman Micheal Kempny both make their regular season debut’s tonight for the Washington Capitals.
The Stanley Cup rematch happens TONIGHT.

Braden Holtby will start between the pipes for the Washington Capitals.
Vegas notes: The Washington Capitals will see a familiar face in net tonight as Marc-Andre Fluery will start for the Vegas Golden Knights. It does look like however that the Knights may be missing a key piece in their lineup. Paul Stastny and Jon Marchessault both did not skate yesterday at practice. It sounds like Marchessault is fine, but it is quite possible that Paul Stastny doesn’t play tonight, which helps the Caps defensively.
