Game Recap: Golden Grizzlies Cruise Past Tigers 97-86

It was exciting while it lasted, as the Towson Tigers (10-2) ten game winning was snapped in Michigan, against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies (7-5), by a score of 86-97. Towson was facing an uphill battle for most of the game as the Golden Grizzlies raced out to an 31-16 burst to finish up the first half of play. The second half was much of the same as the Grizzlies maintained a double digit lead for the whole half.

The Tigers scoring attack was lead by Zane Martin, who had his sixth consecutive game with over 2o points, scoring 22 points. The Golden Grizzlies were lead by Kendrick Nunn, who made six 3 pointers in the first half alone. Nunn would finish with 31 total points. Jalen Hayes and Martez Walker also combined for 45 Golden Grizzly points.

Up Next: Towson goes for redemption in their next road contest, traveling to play the Pittsburgh Panthers. Tip-off is Friday at 7:00 PM.
