Frostburg State University Women’s Soccer defeated Glenville State 3-0 on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Glenville, W. Va., as goalkeeper Mia Graff recorded her third clean sheet of the year. Ridgely Houck, Mollie Rebuck and Reese Rizzo scored for Frostburg State, which improved to 5-2-1.
Frostburg State Builds Early Lead
Frostburg State created the first three chances before Cassidy Paige was brought down just inside the 18-yard box for a penalty kick. Ridgely Houck converted the opportunity after 15 and a half minutes to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.
Glenville State earned a free kick four minutes later, but Graff dove to her right and held the attempt. Isabella Cuellar-Gonzalez later reached a one-on-one opportunity, but Graff made a kick save to preserve Frostburg State’s advantage.
Rebuck and Rizzo Add Second-Half Goals
Frostburg State doubled its lead when Madison Hobson helped create an opportunity that Glenville State goalkeeper Lucia Lopez parried to Mollie Rebuck. Rebuck finished the rebound for a 2-0 advantage.
Reese Rizzo completed the scoring in the final 10 minutes. After Madison Hinton flicked the ball forward to Kelly Dougherty, Dougherty’s cross found Ana Davis, who brought it down and passed to Rizzo for the sophomore’s volley.
Frostburg State Women’s Soccer Moves to 5-2-1
Frostburg State held a 13-10 advantage in shots, while both teams put seven shots on goal. Graff made several saves and preserved the shutout as Frostburg State secured the road victory.
Glenville State fell to 4-4-0 with the loss. Frostburg State was scheduled to return home Sept. 27 to face Charleston (WV) at noon.
