Frostburg State University Athletics Women’s Wrestling will send five athletes to the Beach Wrestling World Championships in Katerini, Greece, from Friday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Sept. 27. Kenaya Mwehu, Elle Webster, Ella McDonald, Amber Hunter-Snyder and Kamil Johnson will represent Frostburg State at the championships.

Kenaya Mwehu and Elle Webster will compete in the 50-kilogram class. Ella McDonald will compete at 60 kilograms, Amber Hunter-Snyder at 70 kilograms, and Kamil Johnson at 70-plus kilograms.
The Beach Wrestling World Championships begin Friday in Katerini. Frostburg State University Athletics announced the five-athlete group on Sept. 24.
Senior World Series team
Mwehu and Hunter-Snyder will also join Bri Holcomb and Maria Hiles on the Senior World Series team. That competition will run from Saturday, Sept. 26, through Sunday, Sept. 27.
Mwehu and Hunter-Snyder will retain their respective weight classes for the Senior World Series. Holcomb will compete at 60 kilograms, while Hiles will compete at 70-plus kilograms.
