2025 NFL Free Agency Preview
The NFL Free Agency legal tampering period begins Monday, March 10th at 9 a.m. Unrestricted Free Agents are able to verbally agree to contract offers from all 32 teams. Here are 3 things to keep an eye on starting Monday at 9 a.m
1.) Myles Garrett Sweepstakes:
Myles Garrett is one of the leagues best pass rushers in the NFL. He requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns early February. Myles Garrett feels he is wasting his talent with the Browns as they finished last season with a 3-14 record and they are headed towards another rebuild. Not mention they made the playoffs the year prior. Myles Garrett has 102.5 sacks since coming into the league in 2017 as the first overall pick. Also, the Cleveland Browns have a lot of internal issues (Deshaun Watson contract) to handle and winning isn’t their priority at the moment.
So the best thing for the Browns to do is honor Garrett wishes and let him go play with a contender because his talent is too much to be wasted in Cleveland.
2.) Aaron Rodgers new Team:
Aaron Rodgers made more headlines than plays for the New York Jets. But his name will bring attention for his services in 2025. Another question looms for the team that takes the chance on the 41 year old: Will you get the services of DaVantae Adams To pair with Rodgers? Teams to look out for are the Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Giants.
3.) Bills, Ravens looking for pass rushers:
The Bills and Ravens both fell short to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game in back to back years. If anything wasn’t more evident during the Super Bowl to beat Patrick Mahomes in January is to rattle him and being able to rush 4. Pass Rush are these teams biggest needs and the Ravens and Bills have to find a way to address that position in a Huge way. Whether it’s getting into the Myles Garrett Sweepstakes, calling Jerry Jones about Micah Parson, or looking at the Pass rushers market in general.
In Closing, This is a fun time of the year for NFL fans. The NFL combine just ended and now it’s time for the NFL to pick back up where they left off. Be sure to check back in for more articles during Free Agency.
