Enrique Bradfield Jr. Promoted to High-A Aberdeen Ironbirds

The Baltimore Orioles’ first round draft pick Enrique Bradfield Jr. has been promoted to High-A. He will make his High-A debut with the Aberdeen Ironbirds later this week. Bradfield batted .302 and had an OPS of .833 in Low-A with the Delmarva Shorebirds. In 17 games in Low-A he has stolen 20 bases showing off his tremendous speed. Bradfield even scored from second base on a bunt single. He has also shown off his amazing batting eye by reaching base 19 times from base on balls and only striking out 9 times. He has also made some spectacular fielding plays in the outfield. Bradfield should finish up the season in High-A with the Aberdeen Ironbirds but he has a chance to start next season in AA with the Bowie Baysox.
