D.C. United woes continue

D.C. United has had a horrible month of August. Here’s a game by game recap up to this point.

8/3 at Carlotte L 3-0

D.C. United got shutout 3-0 to brand new Charlotte FC. Or SC. Idk. But it was bad.

8/6 vs. New York Red Bulls 0-0

This one was a scoreless draw but at least the Black and Red came away with a point.

8/13 at New England Revolution L 1-0

Another shutout this time a 1-0 setback on the road inside the house that Tom Brady built.

8/16 at Los Angeles Football Club (FC) L 1-0

Another road game. Another 1-0 shutout.

8/20 vs. Philadelphia Union L 6-0

They got drrrrd.

8/28 at Atlanta L 3-2

This one was scoreless in the first half but D.C. United showed signs of life in the second half. But Atlanta wanted it more. Ravel Morrison scored in the 47th minute. Atlanta answered in the 49th. Then Ola Kamara gave the Black and Red the lead in the 55th minute before Atlanta responded with two unanswered goals.

The Black and Red end the month at the house that Derek Jeter built on August 31st at New York City FC with kickoff at 8 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
