D.C. United hosts Toronto FC

D.C. United will take on Toronto FC in the 12th match of the MLS season. United carries a 2-5-4 record with 10 points. This will be the second time these two teams have met in 2020. Their previous match came in the Group Stage of the MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando where the game resulted in a 2-2 draw. The Black and Red were trailing at halftime 2-0 and scored two late goals late in the second half in a thriller.

Federico Higuain scored his first goal with the club and Frederic Brillant leveled the score late in the second half. D.C. United has an overall record of 14-11-10 in the 35 times these two soccer clubs have faced each other, dating back to the first matchup in 2007.

D.C. United is coming off a 2-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls while Toronto FC defeated the Montreal Impact 2-1. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcasted on WJLA 24/7 News and www.dcunited.com.
