D.C. United falls to Union

D.C. United dropped their Saturday night contest to the Philadelphia Union by a final score of 4-1. Philadelphia scored the opening goal in the seventh minute after Kacper Przybylko scored from close range. The Union added two more goals shortly after in the 16th and 21st minute to give them a 3-0 lead. The Union added to their lead in the 61st minute on a goal from Brenden Aaronson on a counter attack.

D.C. United responded with a goal in the 64th minute with Julian Gressel scoring his first goal for the Black and Red. Junior Moreno got the ball in the midfield and found Gressel in space on the right wing and he rifled a shot in the net.

D.C. United will take on the New York Red Bulls on the road on September 2nd at 7:30 p.m.
