D.C. United falls to Chicago Fire 1-0
D.C. United fell 1-0 on the road to the Chicago Fire on the road Saturday night at Soldier Field.
The lone Fire goal came in the 78th minute from Fabian Herbers assisted by Kacper Przybylko.
The loss dropped D.C. United’s record to 4-8-2 with 14 points which is second to last place in the Eastern Conference. Taxi Fountas returned to the starting lineup after missing the match against the New York Red Bulls while Rafael Romo made his second career MLS start, recording six saves.
D.C. United’s next match is on Saturday at 5 p.m. against Nashville SC.
