D.C. United ends May with loss to New York Red Bulls
D.C. United ended the month of May with a road loss to the New York Red Bulls by a final of 4-1. All the goals came in the second half.
The Red Bulls struck first in the 54th and 58th minutes with both goals coming from Luquinhas. Lewis Morgan made it 3-0 in the 63rd minute. Ola Kamara scored for the Black and Red in the 87th minute before Tony Alfaro scored to put it away.
It was Kamara’s sixth goal of the season and the assists came from Julian Gressel and Kimarni Smith.
