The Chesapeake Baysox defeated the Harrisburg Senators 9-8 on Aug. 29, 2026, at FNB Field in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to win their third consecutive game and clinch their third road series of 2026. Chesapeake Baysox Build Early Lead With Four Home Runs
Victor Figueroa started the scoring in the first inning after Aron Estrada drew a two-out walk. Figueroa followed with a two-run home run to right field, his fourth with the Chesapeake Baysox and 26th of the minor league season. The home run was estimated at 400 feet.

Pat Reilly started for Chesapeake and pitched four innings. He struck out seven and allowed one run on three hits and two walks, with Sam Brown providing Harrisburg’s run on a solo home run in the fourth inning.
Devin Fitz-Gerald hit a two-run double for the Senators in the fifth inning, but Ryan Long followed with two and one-thirds scoreless relief innings. Long earned the win and improved to 2-3 on the season.

Chesapeake Baysox Set for Series Finale and Homestand
The victory moved Chesapeake to 31-24 in the second half and 60-63 overall. The Chesapeake Baysox are 18-10 on the road in the second half of the Eastern League season and clinched their third road series win of 2026.
The Chesapeake Baysox are the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, while the Harrisburg Senators are the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The teams will finish their six-game series Sunday afternoon at FNB Field, with Sebastian Gongora scheduled to start for Chesapeake against Harrisburg starter Alex Clemmey. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Chesapeake will begin its final 2026 homestand Tuesday, Sept. 1, with a six-game series against the Portland Sea Dogs, the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The series opener is scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
