The Chesapeake Baysox announced their 2027 home schedule on Aug. 10, 2026. The Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is scheduled to open at Prince George’s Stadium on Tuesday, April 6, against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
The Baysox are scheduled to play 69 regular-season home games in Bowie, Maryland. The home schedule is set to conclude Sunday, Sept. 5, against the Hartford Yard Goats.
Chesapeake Baysox 2027 Schedule Highlights
The Richmond Flying Squirrels, the San Francisco Giants affiliate, will be one of the teams the Baysox host for six-game home series, along with the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Guardians) and Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals).
Additional six-game home series are scheduled against the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates), Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers), Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies), Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox), and Somerset Patriots (New York Yankees). The Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) will visit for a special three-game series after the All-Star Break.
The Baysox are scheduled to begin a six-game home series against the Harrisburg Senators on Tuesday, April 20.
Holiday Games and Home Finale
The Akron RubberDucks are scheduled to visit Prince George’s Stadium on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, and Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20. The Baysox will also host Somerset in a series finale on July 4, featuring fireworks, entertainment, and patriotic activities planned for the game.
The final home series is scheduled for Aug. 31 through Sept. 5 against the Hartford Yard Goats. Game times and 2027 ticket prices will be announced later.
Brian Shallcross Discusses the 2027 Schedule
Brian Shallcross, general manager of the Chesapeake Baysox, said the front office is preparing its promotional lineup and working to build relationships with ticket plan holders and organization partners.
“Our front office is excited to release our 2027 season schedule,” said Brian Shallcross. “We’re thrilled to begin formulating our promotional lineup aimed at creating memories and bringing our community together. We look forward to enhancing relationships by welcoming new ticket plan holders and organization partners.”

Remaining 2026 Home Schedule
The Baysox had 12 home games remaining in the 2026 season when the 2027 schedule was announced, starting Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 6:35 p.m. with a six-game series against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at Prince George’s Stadium. The 2026 home schedule was scheduled to conclude with a six-game series beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 6:35 p.m. against the Portland Sea Dogs.
