Fehervary uses his speed to go 5-hole on Helvig and it is 3-0 Caps

Final thoughts: This was your complimentary bread at a restaurant and I don’t mean those cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster. Lots of the Caps talent looked good and played together well, and the rookie camp in June which helped bring them together, unlike Carolina who just started a week ago.
Speed was the name of the game today as most of the goals came in transition for the Capitals, with some blazing speed on display, I’m looking at you Fehervary!
The boys in Red will be back at it tomorrow, we still have a long way to go until opening night for Hershey and DC, but this was a nice return to Hockey, and we missed it.
No 3 stars that I could find as the boys will be back at it tomorrow at 2pm EST for Game #2.
