BREAKING NEWS: Jimmy Smith Tore His Achilles

The Baltimore Ravens lost their best corner as Jimmy Smith tore his Achilles in the second quarter in today’s game against the Lions. Smith will likely be out for the season, and that is a big loss for the Ravens defense. 

The Ravens, however, are very deep in the Cornerback  position. This means Marlon Humphrey, Maurice Canady, and Jaylen Hill will have to step up and replace Jimmy Smith and make the plays that he was making. 

Smith has been one of the best Cornerbacks in the NFL this season, while this is a big loss for the Ravens defense it should not hurt the defense to bad. 

Smith has had three interceptions this season.  

However, this is still a huge injury for the Ravens who are trying to make a playoff push.
