Baltimore Ravens Final 53-Man Roster
The Baltimore Ravens have officially finalized their 53-man roster. There was very few surprises this season when it came to the final 53, but likely the biggest surprise was that undrafted rookie Beau Brade made the team after a strong preseason playing both safety and on special teams. Brade now becomes one of a long list of undrafted rookies to make the Ravens final roster over the years.
In other roster news the Ravens placed running back Owen Wright, wide receiver Isaiah Washington, inside linebacker Deion Jennings, defensive back Christian Matthews, and cornerback Trayvon Mullen on season ending injured reserve. Cornerback Arthur Maulet was placed on injured reserve, but with a designation to return while running back Keaton Mitchell was placed on the physically unable to perform list, and is not expected back until at least sometime in October.
With the active roster now set, the Ravens will look to sign some back some of those that were cut to the practice squad. Some candidates for the practice squad include quarterback Devin Leary, wide receivers Keith Kirkwood and Dayton Wade, and tight end Qadir Ismail. As well has linebacker Joe Evans and cornerbacks Pepe Williams and Bump Cooper Jr.
