Dalton Deardorff Discusses Championship Approach

Deardorff said Salisbury University women’s golf has built momentum while recognizing the challenge presented by the conference championship.

“Our women have a tremendous amount of momentum heading into the conference championship, but we also understand the challenge ahead of us. What excites me most is that our women have earned the right to believe they belong in that conversation.”

“We’re not going to Running Deer just to see how we stack up against nationally ranked programs — we’re going there to compete for a championship. We know it will take our best golf, but if we stay disciplined, trust our preparation, and compete for every shot, I believe this group has a real opportunity to bring home something special.”

MSB Analysis

Salisbury University’s lineup includes Brosius, who has one tournament win and two top-five finishes, and Jaffe, who has three top-five finishes. Lynott has one top-five finish, and the team will count its top four scores during each championship round.
