Stevenson University women’s volleyball lost two matches during a tri-match in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 24, 2026. The Mustangs fell to Muhlenberg, 3-2, and Gettysburg College, 3-0. Stevenson finished the day with a 12-11 overall record and a 4-1 mark in MAC Commonwealth play.
Stevenson University Women’s Volleyball Takes Muhlenberg to Five Sets
Stevenson opened the match against Muhlenberg with a 25-22 victory in the first set. Muhlenberg responded with wins of 25-19 and 25-23 to take a 2-1 match lead, but Stevenson forced a deciding set with a 25-20 fourth-set win.
Muhlenberg secured the match with a 17-15 fifth set victory. Rachel Lenz led Stevenson with 24 kills and 18 digs, while Sydney Salazar added 15 kills and 17 points. Emma Shaffer contributed 11 kills and 13 digs, and Lillianna Hornickle had six kills and five block assists.
Courtney Foose and Declyn Tooze each had 28 assists against Muhlenberg, while Isabella Terra recorded nine digs. Stevenson finished the match with 67 kills, nine service aces and eight team blocks.
Gettysburg College Sweeps Stevenson University Women’s Volleyball
Gettysburg College defeated Stevenson in straight sets, 3-0. The Bullets won the opening set, 25-21, took the second set, 27-25, and closed the match with a 25-18 victory in the third set.
Salazar led Stevenson with eight kills and a .214 hitting percentage. Lenz added nine kills and 14 digs, Shaffer recorded seven kills, and Maren Zepfel finished with four kills.
Foose led with 15 assists against Gettysburg, while Tooze added 12 assists. Terra anchored the defense with 13 digs. Stevenson finished with 56 digs, 10 service aces and eight team blocks. Laila Frye also recorded two service aces during Stevenson’s run in the first set.
Stevenson University Women’s Volleyball Scheduled to Host Widener University
Stevenson is scheduled to host Widener University on Oct. 27, 2026, at 7 p.m. for a MAC Commonwealth match.
