The Mules’ defense held McDaniel to just 15 yards of total offense by halftime, including 58 passing yards and minus-43 rushing yards. They recorded nine tackles for loss, including two sacks. McDaniel committed three turnovers, had seven penalties, and gave up a safety to itself during the game.

Maryland Sports Blog Take

Muhlenberg’s first-half production determined the outcome, while McDaniel’s defense provided both interceptions. David Smith stopped a red-zone possession in the first quarter, and Chris Wilson’s 36-yard interception return supplied McDaniel’s only touchdown.

McDaniel also limited Muhlenberg to 164 yards and one score after halftime. The 15-yard offensive performance, three turnovers, seven penalties, and the safety remain the clearest statistical markers from the loss as McDaniel prepares for its trip to Dickinson.
