St. Mary’s College of Maryland women’s soccer lost 1-0 to Penn College in a United East Conference road match at UPMC Field on Oct. 10, 2026. The teams played a scoreless first half before Megan Kurian scored Penn College’s only goal in the 55th minute on an assist from Mikayla Gordon.
Penn College Scores After Halftime
Kurian’s goal, her 11th of the season, gave Penn College the lead after neither team scored during the opening 45 minutes. St. Mary’s entered the match with a 4-7-3 overall record and a 3-2-0 United East record, while Penn College entered at 8-3-1 overall and 4-1-0 in conference play.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland finished with 13 shots, including six on goal, but could not equalize. Charlotte Bryan led the Seahawks with three shots and two shots on goal, while Maddison Spradlin also recorded three shots and two shots on goal.
Goalkeepers Make Six Saves
