The South Carolina Stingrays and head coach Jesse Kallechy will begin a 28-player 2026 ice hockey training camp Saturday, Oct. 10, at the North Charleston Coliseum. The South Carolina Stingrays are ECHL affiliates of the NHL’s Washington Capitals and AHL’s Hershey Bears, and all practice sessions at the Coliseum will be closed to the public.
The roster includes 18 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders. It features two players under contract with Washington, nine players loaned from Hershey, 16 ECHL-contracted players and one player attending camp on a tryout offer.

The forwards are Zack Andrusiak, Luka Burzan, Charlie Combs, Alex Dostie, Alex Gaffney, Adam Hall, Justin Hall, Timothy Heinke, Kyle Jackson, Tyler Kopff, Jalen Luypen, Landon McCallum, Cam Morrison, Ludwig Persson, Josh Prokop, Ryan Sandelin, Tyler Weiss and Josh Wilkins.
The defensemen are Justin Bean, Noah Beck, Jeremie Biakabutuka, Aidan Hreschuk, Rhett Parsons, Luke Prokop, Connor Moore and Romain Rodzinski. The goaltenders are Colleen Jacoby and Ben Kraws. Jacoby is attending training camp on a tryout offer.

South Carolina Stingrays Open 2026-27 Season
The South Carolina Stingrays will open the season Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. against the Jacksonville Icemen at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The team will return to the North Charleston Coliseum for Opening Night on Saturday, Oct. 17, against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at 6:05 p.m.

Camp will lead directly into the team’s road opener in Jacksonville and its Opening Night matchup against Greenville. Both home practices and Opening Night will take place at the North Charleston Coliseum, although the practice sessions will not be open to the public.
