University of Maryland, Baltimore County Women’s Volleyball Sweeps Binghamton Behind Natalie Harris’ 14 Kills

University of Maryland, Baltimore County Women’s Volleyball swept Binghamton 25-15, 25-14 and 25-17 on October 9, 2026, in Vestal, New York. The victory moved UMBC to 4-0 in America East Conference play, while the Retrievers improved to 9-5 overall.

Natalie Harris led University of Maryland, Baltimore County with 14 kills and eight digs. Hannah Dobbs added nine kills, and Claudia Llamas finished with eight kills in the three-set victory.

UMBC Controls Each Set

University of Maryland, Baltimore County entered the match with an 8-5 overall record, while Binghamton entered at 8-7 overall and 0-3 in conference play. UMBC took the opening set 25-15, then extended its advantage with a 25-14 second-set win.

The Retrievers completed the sweep with a 25-17 third-set victory. UMBC hit .330 for the match and recorded 10 service aces, while Binghamton hit .100.

Harris Leads Balanced Attack

Jalynn Brown recorded seven kills on eight attempts and added three block assists. Grace Larrivee contributed four kills and four block assists.

Isabel Ostvig finished with 36 assists, while Hannah Howard recorded 14 digs and three service aces. The contributions helped UMBC finish the America East Conference match without dropping a set.

UMBC Scheduled to Face Howard

University of Maryland, Baltimore County is scheduled to face Howard in a nonconference match Tuesday, October 13, at 5 p.m. at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena.
