Coppin State University women’s volleyball will take a 12-match winning streak into a two-match MEAC weekend against MD Eastern Shore and Delaware State. The Eagles will host MD Eastern Shore at 6 p.m. Friday, October 9, in Baltimore before visiting Delaware State for a 1 p.m. match Sunday, October 11.
Both matches will air on the MEAC Network, with live statistics available. Coppin State University will honor its 2025 MEAC Championships with a ring ceremony before Friday’s home match against MD Eastern Shore.

Coppin State University women’s volleyball will open the weekend at home against MD Eastern Shore before traveling to Delaware State. The matches are scheduled for Friday and Sunday, respectively.

Players Reach Individual Milestones
Eva Rovello was named MEAC Player of the Week on September 21 and has earned MEAC Setter of the Week honors three times. Cherisse Atilano and Deviana Walker have also won MEAC Player of the Week awards this season.
Coco Figueroa has been named MEAC Defensive Player of the Week twice this season and recently recorded her 1,500th career dig. Kendall Minta recorded her 300th career block in a win at NC Central, while Coppin State University set a school record with 18 total blocks in a five-set loss to Penn.
Tim Walsh Enters 10th Season
Coppin State University head coach Tim Walsh is in his 10th season leading the program. Walsh has a 158-130 record at Coppin State University and an 89-32 record in MEAC play.
MD Eastern Shore enters the week with a 2-13 overall record and a 1-3 mark in the MEAC. Delaware State enters the week 12-6 overall and 3-1 in league play.
