Tara Gosney, a member of Hood College women’s volleyball, was named MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week for her performances from Sept. 28 through Oct. 4, 2026. The Middle Atlantic Conference announced the weekly award recipients on Oct. 6, recognizing 25 student-athletes for the award period.
Gosney hit .297 while averaging 3.44 kills and 4.11 points per set. She recorded 17 kills in a comeback win over conference foe Albright and added 14 kills against Roanoke during the award period.
