Stevenson University women’s soccer opened Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth play with a 5-0 loss to Messiah on October 3, 2026, at Shoemaker Field in Grantham, Pa. The Mustangs fell to 0-1 in conference play and 0-9-1 overall.
Messiah Takes Control Before Halftime
Messiah scored in the ninth minute and added another goal in the 14th minute to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. The Falcons generated 14 shots during the opening half.
Stevenson goalkeeper Isabella Serano made five saves in the first half. She finished the match with eight saves across 90 minutes in goal.
Messiah Adds Three Second-Half Goals
Messiah scored twice within a 29-second span early in the second half to extend its lead to 4-0. Alayna Williams scored Messiah’s third and fourth goals, with Addi Martin and Lauren Kenny assisting on Williams’ second goal.
Molly Adams capped the scoring with a penalty kick in the 87th minute. Messiah recorded 13 shots on goal, while Stevenson finished with zero.
Lexi Sarago scored Messiah’s first goal, and Addi Martin scored the second. The Falcons improved to 6-2-2 overall and 1-0-0 in conference play.
