Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Water Polo Drops Two Games as Aleksandar Radosavljevic Scores 11 Goals

Mount St. Mary’s University men’s water polo lost to Claremont Mudd-Scripp, 14-3, and La Verne, 18-16, on Oct. 3, 2026, in Claremont, California. The losses moved Mount St. Mary’s to 7-12 for the season, while Aleksandar Radosavljevic scored 11 goals across the two games.

Radosavljevic recorded three hat tricks during the day, including one against Claremont Mudd-Scripp and two against La Verne. He scored three goals in the first game and eight in the second.

Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Water Polo Falls to Claremont Mudd-Scripp

Mount St. Mary’s University entered the second quarter trailing Claremont Mudd-Scripp, 4-0, after being held scoreless in the opening period. Max Economy opened Mount’s scoring in the second quarter with an assist from Radosavljevic, and Radosavljevic later scored on a setup from Jack Fox.

The Mount went into halftime down 6-2 and scored once in each of the final two quarters. Radosavljevic scored both second-half goals, including one assisted by Economy. Milan Miskolczi recorded three saves as the goalkeeper, and Radosavljevic finished with three goals in the 14-3 loss.

Radosavljevic Scores Eight Goals Against La Verne

Mount St. Mary’s University and La Verne were tied 6-6 after the opening quarter. Giacomo Graff, Radosavljevic, Giannis Skliras and Aaron Tarr contributed to the Mount’s first-quarter scoring.

Radosavljevic added two goals in the second quarter, while Tarr, Matias Miranda and James Robinson also scored before halftime. Robinson’s goal marked his first collegiate goal, and the Mount entered the break trailing 12-11.

Darrion Phelps opened the second half with a goal for Mount St. Mary’s University. Radosavljevic scored the remaining Mount goals in the third and fourth quarters, finishing with eight in the game. Tarr added three goals, while Graff, Skliras, Miranda, Robinson and Phelps each scored once. Matthew Royer recorded eight saves as the goalkeeper.

Mount St. Mary’s University Men’s Water Polo to Face Bucknell

Mount St. Mary’s University will play Bucknell in a solo match Saturday, Oct. 10, at noon. The game follows the Mount’s two losses in California.

Radosavljevic’s 11 goals led Mount St. Mary’s across the two games. Tarr also recorded a hat trick against La Verne, while Robinson scored the first collegiate goal of his career.

Mount St. Mary’s University men’s water polo produced different offensive results across the two games. The Mount scored three goals against Claremont Mudd-Scripp before generating 16 against La Verne, with Radosavljevic leading the offense in both contests.

The Mount will return to action against Bucknell on Oct. 10.
