Salisbury (2-8-1) battled defensively against Gettysburg (5-3-2) through a scoreless 87 minutes, but Labarge’s decisive strike in the 88th minute gave the Bullets the victory.
Aley Martins Records Career-Best Seven Saves
Salisbury goalkeeper Aley Martins, a freshman, made a career-best seven saves while playing the full 90 minutes for the second straight match. She made four saves in the first half as Gettysburg outshot Salisbury 8-3.
The Bullets also dominated the second half offensively, outshooting Salisbury 9-2. Defenders Bailey Knotts, Lacey Hoageson, and forward Talyn Catena made several attempts, with Knotts recording two shots.
