McDaniel College Women’s Soccer: Madisyn Aurigemma Records First Career Points in 3-0 Win

McDaniel College women’s soccer defeated Elizabethtown 3-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026, at the Soccer Complex in Westminster, Maryland. First-year Madisyn Aurigemma recorded one goal and one assist for the first points of her career in the nonconference victory.

Aurigemma assisted first-year Hariette Ngwatung on the game-winning goal in the 22nd minute. Sophomore Alaina Miller scored McDaniel’s second goal just over five minutes later, giving the Green Terror a 2-0 lead.

McDaniel College Women’s Soccer Controls Match

Miller’s goal was her team-leading sixth of the season, with senior Carly Brock providing the assist on a corner kick. Brock’s assist was her team-leading fourth of the season.

McDaniel outshot Elizabethtown 33-4 and held a 16-2 advantage in shots on goal. The Green Terror also hit the crossbar in the first half and the right post in the second half.

Aurigemma completed the scoring with 39 seconds remaining, recording her first career goal off an assist from junior Noelle Donegan. Donegan earned her first career point on the play.

Elizabethtown goalkeeper Erin Winslow made 13 saves. Sophomore Sierra Ruehl and first-year Jilian Bouchard each made one save for McDaniel College.

McDaniel College Women’s Soccer Adds Another Shutout

The victory improved McDaniel College to 6-2-2 and kept the team unbeaten in four home games. McDaniel has recorded four home shutouts and outscored opponents 9-0 in those matches.

McDaniel also recorded its seventh shutout in 10 games. The Green Terror will host No. 17 Swarthmore on Saturday at noon at the Soccer Complex in a Homecoming match, continuing a three-game homestand.

Madisyn Aurigemma’s goal and assist led McDaniel College women’s soccer in the 3-0 victory. Hariette Ngwatung, Alaina Miller, Carly Brock and Noelle Donegan also contributed directly to McDaniel’s three goals.

McDaniel’s 33-4 shot advantage and seventh shutout in 10 games underscored the team’s control of the match. The Green Terror will next face No. 17 Swarthmore at home on Saturday.
