University of Maryland, Baltimore County Women’s Volleyball junior Hannah Dobbs was named America East Player of the Week on Sept. 29, 2026, after leading the Retrievers to two America East road victories. Dobbs averaged 4.00 kills and 2.25 digs per set across wins at UAlbany and Bryant.
Dobbs Produces in Two Conference Wins
Dobbs recorded 15 kills and nine digs in a five-set victory at UAlbany. She followed with 17 kills, nine digs and a .571 hitting percentage in a sweep at Bryant, committing one attack error.
The Retrievers entered the announcement with a 6-5 overall record and a 2-0 mark in America East. Dobbs’ performances helped University of Maryland, Baltimore County Women’s Volleyball begin conference play with two road wins.
