Hagerstown Flying Boxcars outfielder Jared Carr was selected to the 2026 Drake All-Defensive Team, the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced Sept. 29, 2026, from New York. League managers voted on the players recognized for their defensive performance during the 2026 regular season.
Jared Carr Posts Error-Free Defensive Season
Carr handled 277 total chances without an error during the 2026 season. He also recorded five outfield assists for the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars.
This selection marks Carr’s second All-Defensive Team honor. He previously earned the award as an outfielder while playing for the Charleston team in 2024.
2026 Drake All-Defensive Team
Carr was one of four outfielders selected. The other outfield honorees were Jorge Bonifacio of Long Island, Xane Washington of Lexington and Tomo Otosaka of York.
The rest of the team included Chandler Seagle of Gastonia at catcher, Jacob Teter of York at first base, Brody Fahr of Southern Maryland at second base, Jack Reinheimer of Gastonia at shortstop, Anthony Prato of Gastonia at third base and Noah Bremer of Lancaster at pitcher. Drake is the official baseball of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
