Hood carried a 1-0 advantage into halftime after outshooting King’s College of Pennsylvania 9-3 during the opening 45 minutes. Lucas Godfroy recorded his second assist of the season on Fuentes’ goal.
The team finished the match with a 14-9 edge in shots and took the only corner kicks of the game. Aidan Wright led Hood with four shots.

Adam Labows made four saves to preserve the shutout for Hood College. King’s College of Pennsylvania fell to 3-5-1 with the loss.
Hood finished nonconference play with a 4-5 record and won two of its last three matches. The team was scheduled to host Alvernia University on October 3 at 1 p.m., opening Middle Atlantic Conference play ahead of Homecoming Weekend at Hood College.
