Mount St. Mary’s University women’s soccer defeated the Rider Broncs 2-1 on Sept. 23, 2026, in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, after Caoume Valle scored the winning goal in the 88th minute. The victory moved Mount St. Mary’s to 2-1-1 in Metro Conference play and gave the team consecutive victories for the first time since August 2025.

The match was scoreless at halftime, with both teams recording seven first-half shots. Rider’s Courtney Carter opened the scoring with a penalty kick in the 54th minute, but Mount St. Mary’s responded seven minutes later when Erin Antone scored the equalizer.
