University of Maryland, Baltimore County Women’s Volleyball redshirt freshman outside hitter Natalie Harris earned America East Rookie of the Week honors for the second consecutive week, the America East Conference announced Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 22, 2026.
Harris recorded a match- and career-best 20 kills on .319 hitting in a five-set loss at Villanova. She also contributed five digs, three blocks and three aces in the match.
UMBC Volleyball Begins America East Play
Harris hit .226 during the week while averaging 3.43 kills per set, 1.14 digs per set and 0.43 blocks per set. Her 20-kill performance against Villanova marked both a match best and a career best.
UMBC Volleyball will open America East play with two road matches. The team is scheduled to face UAlbany on Friday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. in an America East championship rematch before traveling to Bryant for a 1 p.m. match Sunday, Sept. 27.
