Mount St. Mary’s University men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete in the Stevenson Invitational on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Stevenson’s Greenspring campus in Stevenson, Maryland. The women’s 6K is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m., with the men’s 8K set for approximately 5 p.m.
The meet will take place on Greenspring Valley Road and marks the second meet of the year for Mount St. Mary’s Cross Country. The university announced the event on September 17.
Mount St. Mary’s Cross Country Opens Season With Top-10 Finishes
Mount St. Mary’s opened the season at the Mount 5K Duals. The men’s team finished third with 79 points, while the women’s team placed fourth with 85 points.
Mary Kate Zollers and Jack Nebbia finished in the top 10 in their first collegiate races. Chloe McCarthy also recorded a top-10 finish.
Riley Bill, Kaelynn Odums and Audrey Musmeci scored points for the women’s team at the Mount 5K Duals. Nic Willis, Kyle Bretting and EJ Villaver were among the men’s point scorers.
Mount St. Mary’s had been scheduled to compete in the 2026 Dickinson Long-Short Invitational on September 12, but that meet was canceled.
Mount St. Mary’s Cross Country Schedule
Following the Stevenson Invitational, Mount St. Mary’s University is scheduled to compete in the JMU XC Invitational on Friday, September 25, 2026. The meet will be held in New Market, Virginia.
