Ike Irish enters the Arizona Fall League as the fifth-ranked prospect in the Baltimore Orioles farm system and the 99th-ranked prospect overall in Major League Baseball. He finished the 2026 season with the Frederick Keys batting .286, hitting 16 home runs and driving in 59 runs. Irish also posted a .916 OPS while playing left field, right field and first base.
Vance Honeycutt played 63 games with the High-A Frederick Keys, hitting 10 home runs and recording 31 RBIs. He finished the season with the Double-A Chesapeake Baysox, batting .288 with seven doubles and five home runs in 20 games. The Baltimore Orioles selected Honeycutt in the first round of the 2024 draft, and he has played 197 games in his Minor League career.
Frederick Keys Pitchers Earn Arizona Fall League Spots
Kiefer Lord finished the 2026 season with the Frederick Keys after beginning the year with the Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds. He started nine games in 10 appearances for Frederick and recorded 50 strikeouts across 32.2 innings. Lord pitched 6.2 innings in Game 2 of a June 17 doubleheader against the Hub City Spartanburgers, one out short of a complete game.
Teddy Sharkey opened the season on the Frederick Injured List before completing a rehabilitation assignment with Delmarva. He finished with a 1-0 record, a 0.66 ERA and 16 strikeouts across nine outings and 13.2 innings. Opponents hit .130 against Sharkey, who helped the Frederick Keys win the South Atlantic League North Division second-half title.
Peoria Javelinas Open Oct. 3
The 2026 Arizona Fall League season begins Saturday, Oct. 3, and the regular season concludes Wednesday, Nov. 11. The Peoria Javelinas will host the Mesa Solar Sox in their season opener. Games will be available to stream on MLB.com and the Arizona Fall League website.
The Arizona Fall League Home Run Derby is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, followed by the 20th annual AFL Fall Stars Game on Sunday, Nov. 8. The postseason begins Thursday, Nov. 12, and the championship game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14.
