Norfolk Tides Fall 6-3 to Syracuse Mets After Four-Run Eighth

The Norfolk Tides fell 6-3 to the Syracuse Mets on June 23, 2026, at NBT Bank Stadium in Syracuse, New York, in the opening game of the final series of the first half. Syracuse scored four runs in the eighth inning to secure the victory.

The loss left the Norfolk Tides at 26-44, while the Syracuse Mets improved to 35-35. Norfolk has now lost 11 of its previous 16 games.

Norfolk Tides Score Three Runs on Two Home Runs
