Derby finished a chance assisted by Kendall Frederick to give Johns Hopkins a 3-0 lead. Penn State Harrisburg answered with goals from Teagan Paragon and Abigail Mahaffey 53 seconds apart in the second half, but Johns Hopkins held on for the victory.
Johns Hopkins Women’s Soccer Builds Early Lead
Johns Hopkins opened the scoring in the fourth minute when Carolyn Johnson scored off an assist from Sayre Burwell. Terren Davis then doubled the lead with her first career goal, assisted by Johnson.
