Mount St. Mary’s men’s golf team opened the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on Sept. 14, 2026, in Emmitsburg, Maryland, positioned 14th out of the competing teams after day one. Junior Santiago Bonequi led the Mount with a two-round total of 141, finishing tied for 25th at one under par after rounds of 68 and 73.
The Mountaineers posted a combined team score of 583, consisting of rounds of 284 and 299, placing 15 over par and 14th in the overall standings.

Junior Force Kosalutta tied for 35th place with a two-round score of 142 (68, 74), finishing even par for the day. Tad Collet was tied for 48th at 145 after rounds of 72 and 73, three over par. Freshman Brent Glah was tied for 88th with a score of 155 (76, 79), and fellow freshman Jack Bagley stood 91st at 164 with rounds of 81 and 83.
Competing independently of Mount St. Mary’s, junior Fisher Coleman-Sayer tied for 92nd with a score of 170 (85, 85), finishing 28 over par.

Murray State led the team standings, four strokes ahead of Youngstown State. Youngstown State held second place with a two-stroke lead over Marshall University.
The individual lead was shared by Ryan Sam of Youngstown State, CJ Schoy of Wright State and Trey Wall of Murray State, all tied at 135, seven under par.
